Thank you for stopping at my Website and a warm welcome. Enjoy until we meet on the air with pleasure About me and Radio Amateur At a Jamboree on the air in 1977 I made my first touch with Ham Radio. In 1993 I got my radio amateur license Class A in Luxembourg as LX1UN and member of the Radio Amateur Club du Luxembourg. After now 29 Years I left this club. I am member of the DARC and ARRL.
Main interests constructing wire antennas for the low bands and perform them to optimum for long distance contacts, and to talk with friends and make new friends with same interests. All my life I was travelling all over the world for my Job and this gave me sometimes possibilities to be active on the radio form many places. Hereafter some examples: From 2010 to 2014 I worked in Brazil and was on the air with an IC706MK II and a K4IO Hex beam as PY4ZUN. From 2017 until 2019 I worked in Czech Republic and was active on all HF Bands as OK8UN. I am now retired and enjoying life with family. I received my German call DJ9UN in July 25th 2019. I respect and honour the former owner of the call sign DJ9UN, Werner is SK since some years, and I will continue as a new DJ9UN with interest in the common hobby of radio amateur. Languages speaking: Luxemburgish, French, German, English, Portuguese, Spanish QTH in a small village names Obermehlen near Prüm in the county of Gondenbrett Grid locator JO30EF.
